A recommendation that I got being in New York, never look people in the eye while you are going in the subway, not just for safety, also because is polite. Keep your bags in everything close to you because it is a lot of pin pocket and that will be unfortunate.
With its high skyscrapers, its famous bridges and the constant renovation of its less favoured neighborhoods, New York falls in love. Also, is museums, a lot of entertainment and good times.
If you are a sports fanatic, Madison Square Garden is home to the iconic New York Nicks, Yankee Stadium is the home of the Yankees and Met is the home of the New York Mets. Take advantage of a trip to NY in the season to watch a baseball or basketball game.
For foodies like me, check it out the food...Is known that American cuisine may not be the most recognized, but who can say no to a good hamburger or a real hot dog? In addition, New York is so cosmopolitan that you can eat dishes from all sources: Japanese cuisine, Italian, Korean, Hindu,... A delight for lovers of good food !.
It is no doubt that New York has so many charms and places around that is so worth it to spend few days to explore.
